Interview on Athlone Community Radio – Exploring the Art of Yoga
Blog post description.
I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by Jaymie Doyle on Athlone Community Radio as part of the Connect programme. It was a wonderful opportunity to share my passion for yoga and discuss its deeper meaning beyond the physical practice.
During the interview, we explored questions such as:
What is yoga?
What is the history of yoga?
What does yoga mean to me personally?
What do I cover in my group classes?
What makes my classes unique?
What can students expect from one-to-one yoga sessions?
What is pranayama and why is breath so important?
What is breathwork?
What does the sacred sound "Om" mean?
Yoga is an ancient practice that brings together movement, breath, mindfulness, and self-awareness. In my classes, I aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students can develop strength, flexibility, balance, and inner calm while connecting more deeply with themselves.
Whether you are completely new to yoga or have been practicing for years, the interview offers insights into how yoga can support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing in everyday life.
